Facial Rejuvenation Fillers
There are many different types of Fillers used for Facial Rejuvenation.
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers help to diminish and soften facial lines, creases, folds and restore youthful volume, lift, and fullness to the face.
There are many different types of fillers used for facial rejuvenation. Each has its own unique properties and therefore certain fillers are best suited for particular areas of the face and lips.
As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat and the bony substructures, or the “scaffolding” which supports and creates the natural contours of our face, begins to resorb. As a result, our facial skin begins to “drape” differently, creating folds, creases, lines, and this loss of volume and structure becomes much more apparent. In addition, the facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile lines and crow’s feet become more apparent. The facial skin also stretches a bit, adding to this loss of facial volume. Other factors that affect these changes include sun exposure, heredity, and lifestyle.
Facial fillers can be used to:
- Soften facial creases, furrowing and lines
- Restore volume to cheekbones, temples, chin
- Plump thin lips and diminish vertical lip lines
- Improve the appearance of recessed scars
- Enhance shallow contours, support and “lift” sagging skin
Fillers can be an extremely gratifying, non-surgical approach, for those patients with early signs of aging. They are also very commonly combined with other non-invasive techniques and procedures as a valuable part of a complete facial rejuvenation, while still avoiding serious surgical intervention.

Benedicte, Age 42
“There are plenty of areas in my life that I cannot control, but I can certainly control my appearance. When I’m on stage, I feel about 10 years younger than I am, so I’m not about to give in to little wrinkles that give away my age. This is a perfect option to help smooth the etched-in lines around my mouth. I’ve never been happier…to forget my lines.”

Rolana, Age 47
“When I go out, I love to have just the right shoes, the right necklace and all the little accessories that make me feel put together. That’s what this does for me. It’s that little extra—that finishing touch that makes me feel great.”
